Are the cheap LED lights on Amazon any good? [R]

I’m looking into starting a legal home grow as a hobby.

The LEDs recommended by grow weed East are in the $200+ range. I’ve seen some on amazon for $80. Linked here.

Is this trash or worth it? Am I better off investing in a better light?

So I’m better off with the QB above than the one below?

Grow box help. [R]

So i currently live in an illegal state but im willing to risk it purely because of the obvious benefits of smoking weed does for me and my mental and physical health.

Fuck the ass backwards laws!

Anyway. Ive been looking at grow boxes online and ive decided on one, https://unique-hydroponics.com/product/kush-cabinet-led-version-grow-box/

I think since im sticking with shorter, compact plants that I'll be fine. Now my question is, is a 150w LED good enough for a box this size or should i look to upgrade to the bigger box with a 300w LED instead? The bigger box isnt out of budget but if i can save some money I'll gladly do it.

For this grow box I would contact the seller and ask about it as I can't find any information on the light itself. As an example,https://www.amazon.com/VIPARSPECTRA-V1200-Spectrum-Indoor-Plants/dp/B00UORXUBA?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_4. This light is advertised as as 1200w light because it supposedly produces the equivalent light of a 1200w HPS, but if you scroll down you'll see that is actually has a Avg. Power Draw of 520W±3%, that's how much true wattage is being consumed.

2x 1000w LED for 4x8 tent? [R]

I’m doing soil, was planning on 8 plants (I’m allowed 12), possibly 10. I know a heater/humidifier will be in the room-doesn’t need to be in the tent. Would the lights I have be good for 8 plants?

Would 2 of these fill the tent if with the lights I have if I wanted to do 10? https://www.amazon.com/VIPARSPECTRA-V1200-Spectrum-Indoor-Plants/dp/B00UORXUBA/ref=mpsa13?ie=UTF8&qid=1536785789&sr=8-3&pi=ACSX236SY340_QL65&keywords=viparspectra+1200w&dpPl=1&dpID=41E5Hk6H7eL&ref=plSrch

Best LED and other components [R]

What would you guys consider the highest lumen LED that one could put in a tent roughly this size: 48L x 34w X 48h (greater height is an option though). If I put a 2000 watt LED in it, would it produce a faster or better or heavier yield than if I used an 800 or even lesser? Is there a saturation limit where the plants just cant take any more light or that i can be too bright and damage them? Here are the lights i've been looking at -

800w https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075XF73JM/ref=psdc_14252961_t4_B073P6S62M

2000w https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073P6S62M/ref=sspa_dk_detail_9?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B073P6S62M&pd_rd_wg=GOpk5&pd_rd_r=984QQ98G9SSCG7ZPNJG8&pd_rd_w=jT0ZB

I am new to LED so not sure what to use, I like the idea of the kits that contain all the stuff you need, but I want to make sure to get good components and bundles can be iffy.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I have read that full spectrum wastes energy bc the plants can only utilize certain spectrums. Is that true? Here is another I was looking at that uses the more red spectrum. Is this one any good? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UORXUBA/ref=psdc14252941t2_B078P484HD

Been asked a million times I'm sure, about to grow 4 autos in a 36" x 32" space, was looking at this light https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DDTOL6E/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1493051267&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=g8+240&dpPl=1&dpID=41Gf5g6-PkL&ref=plSrch And this during flowering https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/cr/B005ZTJ980/ref=mw_dp_cr

Anybody have some cheaper/better suggestions for my space?

The viparspectra's have a pretty good name as an alternative, for 600 you could get this or this More bang for your dollar. You could definately do 4 plants with either of those I suspect. Others may chime in with suggestions as well if you're not in a hurry.
