Seriously, it's an amazing cure for bad breath. Buy a tongue scrubber (the one with bristles, not just the scraper) on amazon for like $5.00, and you'll save a load of money on mints and gum.

Here's a 4-pack for ~$3.50/ea. Give the other three to family members or your friends with bad breath. They'll thank you.

DAE's breath stink so much in the morning that they won't open their mouth until they rinse their mouth? [R]

Orabrush. Works like a medical brush, for when surgeons scrub down.

Smoking on my deck and dealing with the neighbors [R]

I live in a townhouse and my neighbors have made it no secret they hate smoking. Ok, that's their right, they don't have to smoke.

One neighbor leaves their front door open a lot and I don't want smoke going into their living room, so I've been smoking on the back deck. This open door neighbor also used to have their kids pick up cig butts and put them on my stoop, even though they weren't mine. I asked them about it, they denied it, and the problem went away.

Now, the neighbor on the other side also hates smoking and while I was on my deck one day said something along the lines of, "Can you not do that?" I told him I don't want to smoke on the front stoop because of the other neighbors door being 4 feet away and the deck has more space. He just went inside.

I was outside just now, and I hear him ask his daughter to shut the sliding door to the deck and all the windows. Eh, what can I do, I'm on my deck, and it's raining so I'm under the awning. Thing is, he came up to the door, starts talking like, "That is disgusting, ughhh, blah blah blah." He then starts spraying febreeze.

They have never approached me or voiced a concern. Frankly, I wouldn't care if they did, because I'm on my property and try to be courteous when I can, but I'm not going to walk down the block every single time I want a smoke. I smoke about 3/4 a pack a day so it isn't like I'm just out there for hours chain smoking either.

I want everyone to get along and I want to be liked, but my neighbors no longer say hello or anything. They dislike me in this passive aggressive manner that's really some next level bitch shit. How do I smoke in a way that won't add fuel to their petty fires? Like I said, I'll try to avoid smoking right next to their open windows and doors, but the smoke will drift. I get that it bothers them, but I'm not going to walk a block away for every smoke.

> What your seeing and sterotyping English people as is our rednecks.

Honey... Rednecks is a purely American white trash thing. We have out own special kind of tooth issue with meth heads.

UK people? They have a lot of things going for them that I like but .....but really need to learn about the value of brushing your tongue. The number of people in the UK with thrush? It's terrifying. It's a simple answer.

I can't set up an affiliate account because I'm in the ONE state in the US that doesn't allow it (and we also have to have ID cards to have guns.... for a completely unrelated issue) so you can check out the whole tongue cleaner thing and I won't make any $ off it.

It will help your dental health by a LOT. (Item here)

As someone who has had dental care every 4-5 months for most of my life? I will say you want to use this near a toilet (WC) the first time you try it. It is a LPT.....

EWWWW.

And before you try to offend someone with a term? Be sure they aren't of the nationality to OWN IT! WHOOT! REDNECK NASCAR AMERICAN HERE BITCHES!

(Seriously - look into the tongue thing. It's a game changer and will help the breath and plaque build up)

[Rant] Keto Breath Stinks & Doctor is Mad [R]

4 years, 1 month agovomitCow posted submission on keto.
April 15, 2015

I've been doing keto for the last 10 weeks or so, and have been losing weight at an awesome pace (about 1.5-2 pounds per week after the initial water weight). I feel good, I don't feel like I could run a marathon, but I'm not as tired as I used to be before keto... and once in a while I'll get a great day where I feel like superman and can work and keep moving for 18 hours straight without stopping.

Anyways, I was at my doctor's office getting a checkup, my doc was impressed with my weight loss and supported (for the most part) keto... Pretty much said that if it's working for me then go for it. He did comment however, that my breath stunk like ketones and told me to hydrate better. Problem is, I have been drinking around a gallon or more of water per day!

Nobody has told me up till then that my breath stunk, and I personally can't smell it or taste it like many here seem to be able to do... I practice good oral hygiene brushing, flossing, and scraping, I drink plenty of water, but now I'm paranoid that my breath stinks.

I need to meet with potential clients almost daily, and I don't want to be remembered as the guy with terrible breath... I also don't want be chewing gum or sucking on a mint during a meeting because I think that comes off as juvenile or douchey.

Can anybody PLEASE!!!! help me out with my breath? I thought that by this point I would be fully adapted and be burning ketones, not excreting them? Any Ideas on how to check if it stinks? I have to present 3 big contracts today, help!

Oh... and why my doctor is mad: At my checkup, he took blood work. The results came back, and my bad cholesterol is "very high" though, my good cholesterol is where it needs to be.

He wants to put me on meds and change my diet to low carb low fat... DAFUQ?!?! Can't that.... like.... kill me?

Bros, does smell/taste matter to you? [R]

On my various sexy ventures I've been noticing that a big turn on/off for me is the smell/taste of a guy I'm with. It's like a deal breaker to me because if they have bad breath and I'm kissing them, or if they just smell a little too much like body odor, I just completely lose focus. I've even developed a type of negative reinforcement when I look at guys now. When I look at pictures of guys, I can almost tell what they're going to smell like, and depending on the smell, it could repulse me. It doesn't matter how attractive the guy is, if I smell the body odor it's a complete no go for me. Going into taste, I get physically ill to the point of almost throwing up if the guy's breath smells bad (especially if he smoked earlier). I've learned to avoid all lobster or imitation crab meats because the taste is the exactly like guy's mouths when I kiss them.

Bros, what is going on with me... do you share this sensitivity? or is it just me?

In addition to this advice: I recommend recommending an Orabrush tongue brush and this mouthwash. Be sure to use it as directed (one serving swished around for a minute; one serving gargled for 30 seconds).

This is how I eliminated morning breath ;)
