I’d like to get a new gaming mouse and keyboard, looking for recommendations [R]3 months agoArm-the-homeless posted submission on buildapc.
May 16, 2019
I’m thinking really small budget right now. I don’t make much, but my mouse and keyboard are pretty old and getting worn out. Id like to order through Amazon as I have access to prime. I’ve seen a few combos for ~$30, some closer to ~$50, but not from companies I’m familiar with. I see a lot of Redragon and a few other companies I’m unfamiliar with.
Budget wise, it would be great to keep it under $30, but I’m probably able to go up to about $50 if it’s really worth it.
Any and all suggestions truly appreciated. Thank you!

- Most likely not
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)
- 16gb of ram Atleast
Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

Budget Gaming Mouse Suggestions [R]1 year, 2 months agogumballwolf posted submission on BulletBarry.
June 19, 2018
Im rival 300 is "broken" for a while now. it works, but theres brief moments where thing just dosent respond at all (this happends a lot). The poor thing also went through hell the past 2 years (its cracked in some places and even got some blood stains on it, cant remember if its from head injury or a nose bleed :D)
Im looking for a good gaming mouse, but im on a budget of around 50 dollars. Im not looking for something crazy, something that is comfatable to hold and 2-3 extra buttons since I got used to having those. I know theres good ones out there but I want to expend from the brands and see if you guys can suggest something thats cheap and good.

I made a post in the past here, but I think I really need some more help, and it turns out that I am poor.
So here's what I'm looking for:
- $45 CAD or less
- A sensor that's 3310 or better.
- DPI button, preferably 2 so I can go up and down, it's fine if I can't get that though.
- Hand size is 17cm x 8.5cm
- Weighs less than 100 grams, or I can remove a weight that's been screwed inside. Does not need to have a weight-tuning system, however.
- Mostly optional, but the colour is black with red lighting or RGB and software.
- I use a palm grip

Im pretty sure this suits all your needs. Its by no means a name brand, but the reviews on it are actually pretty good. Hardware Canucks even made a video on it.

A Stranger I met in OW sent me a Gaming Mouse! [R]1 year, 6 months agoAmbushes posted submission on Overwatch.
Feb. 20, 2018
Here's the story behind this. I splurged quite a bit on a gaming mouse when I first switched to PC. It recently started working worse and worse, making my Overwatch experience shittier and shittier. I shied away from comp, and instead went to quick play where I wouldn't harm those with a competitive mindset. I was playing on Valentine's Day, and while it seemed everyone was in a good mood that game, my mouse had intermittent bursts where it would stop working. I then apologized, but a guy named "Kindness", funnily enough, said he recently got a raise and would send me a mouse. While I was suspicious at first, I gave him my address and waited. Today, it came in, and I was overjoyed, even though it wasn't super expensive or premium. I wanted to share the joy I felt today with you all, and hopefully inspire you all to do your own act of kindness today. And they say Overwatch has a toxic community!
Here's some proof, since it's such a far fetched story.
Kindness, thank you so much. Since you said you like Reinhardt, I'll make sure to mail you a rein figurine once I get the money!
Edit: only blurred out my name since it's really shit, lol
Edit 2:Meant to say PO Box instead of address, lmfao I'm not that crazy
Edit 3: He saw it!

The Logitech G502 and G402 go on sale for those price points pretty frequently.
I also recently found out about this mouse which is super cheap, but has decent build quality, and more importantly, a pretty damn good sensor. Can't beat what you get for that price--fully customizeable DPI, RGB lighting, good sensor, good build quality.

Ec2b buttons [R]1 year, 8 months agomeeheecaan posted submission on MouseReview.

Received my ec2b today, wanted to upgrade from ec2a because 3360. Sensor wise it's night and day, very noticable for me but the m2 click on ec2b...
Feels like the press is 2x as deep as my ec2a and it doesn't feel snappy/crisp at all. I can literally feel the m2 button wobble up against my finger as I let go when I spam it.... it's so annoying and garbo.
Faulty unit or what? Does it get better with time? I can't be bothered to return and order another one because availability is super limited where I live. I want to like it for the sensor, but that m2 click....
I remember my ec2a clicks were quit bad when I received it, but it got better after a few weeks of use. Like I have a g203 and the clicks are same to me as ec2a's - I dont prefer one over the other.
Edit: Decided to return the ec2b, the m2 button literally pressed down in 2 stages rather than straight down in one go. For 70€ that's an absolute joke.

Looking for a budget FPS mouse [R]1 year, 11 months agorobbiek54 posted submission on MouseReview.
Sept. 16, 2017
I'm looking for a decent optical mouse that I can use at a low DPI for FPS games- so hopefully one without acceleration. Here's some more info about what I'm looking for.
Games: Rainbow Six Siege and CS:GO
Hand Preference: Right or ambidextrous
Budget: $30 but can go higher if there are no decent options
Hand Size: 17.5 cm
Grip: Not sure, but my palm isn't always touching the mouse- I can move the mouse vertically without moving my wrist, so fingertip grip?
Weight: No preference
Sensitivity: 400-800 dpi
The most important thing is that there are at least 2 side buttons (hopefully 3, maybe even 5?)- RGB lighting would be great too, but I understand that that would be asking a lot at this price range. Thanks!

I'm looking to buy my first gaming mouse, but I wanted your opinions on some options that I've been looking at. Since my budget is small, I felt that many of the mouses spoken about here already would be too pricey for a first time user.
Here are two different pretty cheap mouses that I've been considering. Given their price, I don't expect them to be the holy grail of mouses, but any more feedback on them by people who have possibly used them in the would be greatly appreciated.
As an alternative, if you happen to have any suggestions that aren't terribly expensive as well, I would be more than happy to receive them and check them out myself.

I love browsing through the gaming mouse listings on Amazon. It seems like there's a never-ending supply of weird stuff coming out of China. Every time I look there's something new.
I like this one: Hiraliy F300, Deathadder shape. Avago 3050 sensor (low end but ok, and at least they bothered to tell you which sensor the mouse is actually using). Supporting software allowing customization (most mice in this price range don't have that).
Be aware that build quality will be suspect and customer / warranty support will either be poor or completely non-existent. You get what you pay for here.

Rajfoo looks like a Chinese knockoff of Rapoo, a fairly well-respected Chinese peripheral manufacturer (their logos even use the same font). 3200 dpi implies a Pixart AM010 or Avago 3050, but it's impossible to tell for sure since not even their website has concrete specs. They go by the somewhat amusing name "oemmouse" on their English site. I also see this mouse on their website, corresponding to this fairly high-quality Deathadder lookalike on Amazon. Extrapolate what you will about the mouse on Newegg; I think quality will be reasonable but the sensor won't, seeing as they oversampled the 3050 on the second mouse quite liberally. Weight on the Newegg mouse is also an excessive 152g; ideally mice should be closer to 100. Even the G502, which is too heavy for some to use seriously for fps's, is only 120g.
That said, Kudos to whoever is behind Rajfoo for allowing the user to have a bit of control over the lighting instead of just leaving it on random spectrum breathing like so many manufacturers do.
