[Discussion] $100 amazon gift card. Would like some suggestions. [R]

Like the discription says, I have 100 dollars in gift cards to spend specifically on Amazon. Watch-wise i am set and have a solid rotation. I am a law enforcement officer so most standard things seen on this sub I carry in some capacity. I am thinking of getting a knife, new pen and a notebook of some sort. I would love to have some suggestions.

For your line of work, maybe this pen:

Boker Plus 09BO093 Titan K.I.D CAL .50 Tactical Pen, Silver

Compact, solid construction, bolt-action and accepts Fisher Space Pen cartridges. Love mine.

Notebook, maybe a Rite in the Rain? I could see it's waterproof-ness being of use to somebody who works in the elements.

As far as a knife, probably a "rescue" or EMT knife with handy things like glass breaker and/or seatbelt cutter. Can't recommend any specifically, since I've never been in the market for that kind of knife.

Couldn't post r/pens hopefully edc can help me out [R]

I use this pen and I like it a lot. The size is the perfect middle ground for a comfortable pocket carry that is also comfortable to write with. Plus it is compatible with space pen refills.

Looking to change my Edc pen. Been carrying a space pen forever. What's your favorite? [R]

Perfect smaller pin. Has a cool bolt locking feature. I've had mine for 2 plus years, fits space pen refill as well. It's expensive but its an edc item. If you take care of your items this one is a keeper. If you lose your edc items often might want to pass cause of the price.

Has a nice weight to it but not too heavy. Most importantly it feels like a fill size pen when you are writing.

Best EDC pen that is robust enough to keep in your pants pocket? [R]

Is there a good pocket pen that wont explode, bend, or have moisture issues that one could carry in their pants pocket?

What's a good writing utensil for EDC'ing with Field Notes(regular ones not limited edition or fancy) and why?

I'm personally looking for one that has a clip to clip into the book and is durable because I tend to be hard on my things. I mean why baby them, eh?

Boker 50 Cal. I had a Space Pen but this thing blew it out of the water. Its lighter than it looks and smoother at writing than a Space Pen whiles being fun to fiddle with and sexy as hell.

Boker Pen - I LOVE this pen. Great carry and can take a beating.

Boker VAT - nice little tool that I pick up about a month ago. Super handy as a pry bar, it's really strong. The bottle opener part is pretty hard to use, FYI, so don't rely on that alone

Looking for recommendations for a new EDC pen [R]

This one is going to be for EDC, and will be clipped to a front jeans pocket when not in use. It'd be great if it had the following traits/features, but some compromises are acceptable and expected:

  • Durable, i.e. mostly metal construction
  • Has a sturdy clip
  • Compact(able) in length
  • Retractable, twist, or telescopic -- no caps, please
  • Accepts readily-available and inexpensive refills (e.g. Zebra, Fisher, Lamy)
  • Won't ink bukkake my pocket
  • Relatively inexpensive, i.e. < $20

I've tried mostly Zebra pens and have been quite pleased with them in general, so if there are no other viable pens, I'm probably going to get a Zebra Expandz or SL-F1.

Fits everything but the price: Boker KID .50 cal pen. It's a darker grey than it looks in the picture. 4.25" long. Body is a bit fat, though; just under 1/2".

I just got one, it's great.
