Blending tobacco [R]

Anyone here bled there own tobacco? I'm curious about the process and how you come up with how much of each type of tobacco you use

I use this one, as do a few friends and it works really well:

Most of the DIY presses I've seen at home have been PVC with a C Clamp, which is fine, but I prefer metal or wood.

I'm currently in the market for someone with the skill to do this, but my plan is to have someone make me a square version of this about 5 inches tall using a clamp on the bottom to sides to hold the bottom on. Then, the same screw down from the top (which also has side clamps).

Basically, something like this (side clips not pictured):

Any Point in Pressing Your Own Tobacco? [R]

2 years, 1 month agoasabassa1 posted submission on PipeTobacco.

Curious to hear from people who have pressed their own tobacco. Did you mix your own, combines some name brands, or do it with raw (processed) leaf? What was the outcome, how long did you do it? I have a 20 ton hydraulic press and thought about experimenting. Any insight is appreciated!

A friend from my local pipe club suggested to start with an herb press, which will press bowl size pucks. Then to keep notes on what works and what doesn't work.

I bought this guy: T Press Tool 3.5 Inches Engineered Brass Cylinder Heavy Duty Metal T Shape, Spice Pollen, Tincture Crusher Silver Color https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2GI5J4/ref=cmswrcpapap_bXiXhLYlDmfLy

It arrived yesterday and I put in some Punakawan 2017 just to see how the puck comes turns out, before I start experimenting with anything from Leaf Only.

What to do with popcorn nugs [R]

I have a sizable amount of popcorn sized nugs that I want to press. I typically press about a gram at a time. What's the best way to compress these tiny nugs into one mass to press?

It's a device shaped like a 'T' that you can use to press things, either into a certain shape or through a grill: https://www.amazon.com/Inches-Engineered-Cylinder-Tincture-Crusher/dp/B00B2GI5J4

Make kief pucks.

Edit: Just a repost, same title even. Still, making pucks is a great way to use your kief, throw that in the middle of a bowl and it'll last forever.

Pressing Kratom Pills [R]

4 years, 9 months agoHumidNebula posted submission on kratom.
Aug. 5, 2014

Would it be possible to press kratom into a pill form rather than using capsules? Im too broke right now to spend money on capsules and my gag reflex is easily triggered by the taste/texture of kratom these days. Maybe it isnt a bad thing, though as it kinda limits the amount I use.

Any other alternate ways of ingestion that you guys prefer is welcome too.

I remember that guy! He used a Pollen Press along with a slight amount of honey and coconut oil. I can't find his post, but I'm certain this was his method.

What should I do?!?! [R]
