[USA-GA] [H] PayPal [W] Thin and light laptop [R]

Looking for a thin and light laptop 14in and under. I really like the HP Envy x360 style (2in1). If it has a mx150 that would be a bonus. Would love a 7th CPU with 4k display. What ya got? Budget around $600

15.6 in. This looks like it's exactly what I have.

[USA-IA] [H] HP Envy x360 15 inch Ryzen laptop, PayPal [W] PayPal, Samsung CF591 Curved Monitor, Apple Keyboard and Mouse [R]

The HP Envy x360 has a Ryzen 5 2500 cpu and 8 gb ram and a 1tb hard drive. Has a spot to put an NVMe drive as well. Asking $445 shipped obo to beat eBay prices.

Also looking for a Samsung CF591 curved monitor to match my other monitor and an Apple keyboard and mouse. Bluetooth preferred but would consider wired for the right price

We already got em from the main bros like HP and Dell, but you gotta shop em, IIRC they were cheaper too during their launch but I am not sure what they performance is like in gaming and basic tasks.

Laptops with the new APUs? [R]

Is there any word on laptops with the new APUs? I don't have a living situation that's super conducive to owning a desktop PC, but it would be great to pick up a cheap-ish laptop with one of the new APUs for the "occasional" game of Dota 2...

I know there aren't benchmarks yet but it looks like these APUs will be great for MOBAs like Dota, is that a fair statement?

Yes, to date these are the best laptop APUs. There area already some benches up for DOTA, seems to do pretty well for an APU and very playable.

Hp ENVY X360 is out: https://www.amazon.com/HP-ENVY-x360-Touch-Ryzen/dp/B0784VZZZM/ref=sr11?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1518424349&sr=1-1&keywords=HP+envy+x360+2500u

Acer swift 3 is out: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Swift-Ryzen-Windows-SF315-41-R6J9/dp/B078B5WZZ5?th=1

There are a few more in the works. but they are not out yet (acer nitro 5, lenovo 720s) they have lots of different configs than shown here obv. so pick wisely. Seems like the swift 3 is more energy efficient and has better battery life. But the X360 seems to put up better performance overall.

Good laptop for Rocket League? [R]

Sorry if not allowed, but can anyone recommend a good laptop to play RL on on the go? I have a job where I Travel a lot but want to keep up the RL practise (offline and online) I’m looking for something in the range of $1000 to $1600 AUD. Any recommendations? Around 15” screens would be ideal for portability reasons. I’m not too bothered about playing other games, I’m just looking for a laptop anyway to be able to do work on but can also enjoy some RL on my downtime. Thanks!

On the lower end, you could go with The HP Envy x360 with Ryzen and Vega graphics. It performs very well in Rocket League, and has solid performance and battery life.

If you want to step up a little bit, the Acer Flip 5 has the newest gen Intel i7 mobile CPU and a 1050, and should crush Rocket Leauge at 1080p.
