Need some advice [R]

I need new bottles. The ones I purchased on amazon just aren’t cutting it. One has already broken and the other seals are failing. The bottles need to be clear - taking a brown bottle to a fire station (career firefighter) is likely to get me into some sort of trouble.

I’ve been reading reviews for an hour, and I’ve reached the point where I kind of want someone to tell me which bottles have worked REALLY well for them so I can order them. I’m looking for clear glass, 12-17 ish ounces and works well for carbonation.

This is the best brand, I have been doing home brewing for a few years now and this is the brand I have been recommended and bought multiple times. If you can, find a local store to buy from. Most of the price on amazon is shipping empty glass and they will be much cheaper if you find a place to buy them in person.

I get them from my local brew shop for $25 per 12 pack. Work great.

I can't say anything as to the strength of the swing tops. But they certainly look good and are perfect for bottling. However, you'll have to make/drink a lot of mocktails before you have enough bottles. I bought these on Amazon and they work great:

Quicker way to the bottles. Unless you were going to buy a bunch of those mocktail things anyway. :-)

I am making some limoncello for all my family members for xmas and i want to get glass bottles to package them. Preferable one that can have a custom design printed on as a label. Anyone know anywhere that sells such things?

Get some EZ-Cap bottles from your local homebrew supply or Amazon and print your own labels.

Get one of those 2-3 gallon jar/beverage dispensers with a spigot (make sure spigot is not metal, many look metal but aren't). It makes bottling so much easier. Also, a funnel. And some type of bottle with lid like this

When prepping for a cocktail night, how do people store their ingredients? Specifically, I am wondering about good vessels for holding syrups or fruit juice? I purchased some squeeze bottles from Amazon, but their quality is poor.

Any suggestions?

I use clear flip top bottles like these. Add a speed pourer for precision, and you're good to go. Of course the later is optional.

or for larger batches

Your LHBS probably has them, but you can also order them online. I usually see them called swing-top, bale wire, EZ cap, or grolsch-style bottles. They're a pain in the butt to look for because there isn't a universally recognized name (like, say, "bordeaux bottle").

Sometimes you can luck out and find them at craft stores like Michael's.

Best swing top bottles? [R]

Or any other way of bottling. Preferably cheap. I want to limit exploding bottles and have the maximum amount of carbonation!

Links would be super helpful! Thank you!

I bought mine from a local homebrew shop. They are the EZ cap 16 ounce bottles, and with tax I think they came out to arond $28. You can get them on amazon here, but if you buy them online they usually cost more because of shipping than if you can find them locally.

What are yalls opinions on P.E.T bottles for bottling? [R]

Short term ( less than a year) and long term (over a year)

They are super cheap. Should i just not buy them and only stick to glass? Im talking about these:

i would much rather have clear glass though because it looks so much better. is this a good deal?
